Meeting the Demand for Qualified Psychology Counselors

As the need for qualified behavioral health and mental health counselors continues to grow, so will employment opportunities. The M.S. in Counseling Psychology provides a foundation in counseling skills, assessment, and individual and group therapy, giving students the advanced clinical training they need to advance in the fast-growing mental health field.  The program prepares students to meet the core educational requirements for professional counselor licensure (LPC) in the State of Pennsylvania. Graduates are qualified to work in a variety of settings:

  • clinics
  • hospitals
  • human services agencies
  • private practice

The application deadline for this program is March 15. Classes will begin in the summer.
