Military and Veterans: Robert Morris University

We Salute You

Robert Morris University salutes our military veterans and all you do for our country.

RMU was one of the first institutions nationwide to take part in the federal Yellow Ribbon Program, helping veterans pay the difference between the cost of tuition and the benefits they receive under the Post 9/11 G.I.  Bill. And for those with less than 100% post 9/11 benefits, we offer a Military Service Award to help close the financial gap.

At RMU, we believe that veterans deserve a special level of support and a place you can call your own. That’s why we created our Veterans Education and Training Services (VETS) Center, open 24/7 to all veteran/military students. The VETS Center serves as a place for veteran students to study, relax, or socialize with other veterans. It’s just one of the reasons RMU was named to the 2014 Military Friendly Schools list by Victory Media.

171st  Air   Refueling  Wing  and 911th Airlift Wing

Robert Morris University is rated one of the top military friendly schools and offers a Master’s in Organizational Leadership program at the 171st Air Refueling Wing (171 ARW) and 911th Airlift Wing (AW) in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Classes are offered both online and on-site (in the evening) at the air wing. And with full-time students taking only 2 courses per term every 8 weeks, most students complete their master's degree in just one year. Programs are offered through a military scholarship and are open to active, reserve, and veteran military personnel from the 171 ARW, The 911th AW, and other surrounding military installations.
