Psychiatric Mental Health Certificate Program: Robert Morris University

PREPARING LEADERS FOR THE NEW AGE OF HEALTH CARE

RMU is at the Forefront of this Ever-Changing Industry

In order to provide a holistic level of health care, today’s nurse practitioners are being asked to expand their knowledge and manage, across the lifespan, the care of individuals experiencing psychiatric problems.

Emphasizing interprofessional educational competencies, RMU’s Post-Masters/Post-Doctoral Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certificate Program prepares graduates to use their expert communication and leadership skills, employing clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to ensure quality of care of patients experiencing mental illness.

Upon completion, graduates are eligible for national certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a PMHNP.
