Instructional Management and Leadership: Robert Morris University

Become the Leader You Were Born to Be

RMU’s Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Instructional Management and Leadership degree program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals such as teachers, administrators, college faculty, corporate trainers, health professionals, and military personnel who want to be leaders in their field. Robert Morris now offers this highly selective degree program in an entirely online format to meet the demands of working professionals wherever they live.

Courses in the online Ph.D. in Instructional Management and Leadership are taught by the same full-time faculty who teach in the university’s traditional on-ground Ph.D. program, and utilizing the same popular cohort model that allows doctoral candidates to work collaboratively with their classmates. Both the online and on-ground programs are offered by the RMU School of Education and Social Sciences.

The program features 18 credits of coursework with a dual focus in instructional management and leadership, and 15 credits of research courses to prepare you for the dissertation, the culminating project of the program. Each summer includes a one-week residency when students will meet with faculty and engage in the dissertation process. Affordable and convenient private housing is available on campus.
